Text composed in MS Word with "Smart Quotes" or "Curly Quotes" enabled will lose punctuation when copied and pasted into web text boxes. Apostrophes and quotation marks turn into question marks.
To disable curly quotes in Microsoft Word
select Tools from the Word menu bar
select AutoCorrect
select AutoFormat As You Type tab
In the Replace as you type list, make sure the box is blank to the left of Straight quotes with smart quotes.
Also, Microsoft Word has several save options - use "Save As Text Only" to change "Smart Quotes" back to straight quotes.
